FORMER Colchester United attacker Beryly Lubala has signed for League One side Burton Albion.
The 25-year-old forward, who played for the U's on loan last season, has joined the Brewers on a short-term deal, following the expiration of his contract at Blackpool.
Lubala told the Burton website: "It feels great. I'm glad to finally get the move over the line and I'm ready to crack on and get to work.

"I was at the club as a child, before the academy was a centre of excellence and to come back is brilliant.
"The growth of the club is massive and how family oriented it is. You can see the community is really tight around here and I'm just happy to be a part of it."
Lubala joined Colchester on a season-long loan from Championship club Blackpool, in August, 2022.

The former Crawley Town youngster made an instant impression, scoring on his debut for the club in their 1-1 draw with Hartlepool United, last September.
But he was restricted to eight league appearances at Colchester, only three of which were starts.

In total, Lubala made 12 league and cup appearances for the U's, during his time at the JobServe Community Stadium.
Lubala joined Blackpool on a three-year deal in the summer of 2020 but became a free agent after his contract at the club expired earlier this summer.

Burton boss Dino Maamria told the club's website:Β "He's had a difficult time in the last couple of seasons but he's a player that has all the attributes to be a brilliant.
"He can play as a number nine or wide of a front three and can score goals, and we're delighted to have him."
