A DUO attempting to dodge a train fare were forced to purchase a ticket after being caught in the act.
British Transport Police officers were called to Colchester North station at 8.30am on Sunday following a report of two men not having bought tickets.
Upon arrival at the station, they located the duo and ensured they purchased tickets.
“Officers arrived and spoke to the individuals who bought tickets and were allowed to travel following some words of advice,” said a BTP spokesman.
“There were no offences committed."
