A MAJOR road was blocked due to a collision involving a motorcycle and a car.
The incident took place at about 4.30pm on Wednesday on the A120 near the Colchester Road, Coggeshall, junction.
Essex County Council’s travel department said the road was “partially blocked in both directions”.
It adds: “[This is] following an accident involving a motorcycle and a car”.
Firefighters were called to assist the ambulance service at the scene while traffic moved "slowly" onwards.
Essex Police and the ambulance service have been contacted for comment.
