COLCHESTER United legend Jamie Cureton has left his job as manager of Enfield FC by mutual consent.

Cureton, who memorably won the Championship Golden Boot with the U’s in 2006-07, has left his role in charge of the Pitching In Isthmian League division north side along with his managerial team.

Cureton, a member of Colchester's Hall of Fame, has departed after a difficult period for Enfield FC following the tragic death of their director Simon Needham, at the age of just 51.
