A RETAILER has moved one step closer to opening its newest store in Colchester.

Greetings card giant Card Factory was rumoured to be moving into one of the last remaining units at Stanway’s Stane Retail Park after job adverts appeared online.

Card Factory’s intentions have now been confirmed after Colchester Council received a planning application as the company seeks approval for its new signage.

The latest job adverts suggest the store will be opening early next month.

Pet care retailer Pets Corner will occupy the final vacant unit, next door to Card Factory.
