AN uninsured driver caught by the police has been banned from getting behind the wheel.
Terry Crosby, 46, was seen driving a Ford Focus in Hawthorn Avenue, Colchester, on July 6 last year.
Colchester Magistrates’ Court heard he was not insured to drive the vehicle at the time.
The offence was proved via the single justice procedure.
Crosby, of Charles Pell Road, Colchester, was banned from driving for six months during the court hearing.
He was ordered to pay £258 in a fine, surcharge and costs.
