POLICE are appealing for information after a man died in a crash in Tiptree.
Officers called to the scene in Station Road, at about 10.20pm yesterday, Thursday, October 5, following reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and a stationary HGV which was parked near to the junction with Francis Close.
Sadly, despite the best efforts of paramedics, the man, 60s, died at the scene.
The road was closed whilst officers carried out investigative enquiries.
Now, police are asking for the public’s help for witnesses and dash cam footage following the crash.
A spokesman said: "If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
"You can let us know by emailing the Serious Collision Investigation Unit using CollisionAppeal@essex.police.uk."
