A MAN was arrested after police found bags containing more than 30g of cocaine in a bedroom during a raid at a house in Colchester, a court heard.
Savalas Rous was in bed with a woman when police entered the premises in Vitoria Mews.
During a search of the bedroom, officers found a metal tin containing three bags of cocaine weighing more than 30g, Ipswich Crown Court heard.
Officers also found £410 cash in a shoe, £80 cash in a shoebox and a further £20 cash in a jacket, said Richard Potts, prosecuting.
In a bedside cabinet in a second bedroom, used by a man who has since admitted possessing cocaine with intent to supply, police found a bag of white powder containing 6.75g of cocaine.
Mr Potts told the court the woman who was in bed with Rous had admitted being concerned in the supply of cocaine and cannabis.
Rous, 25, of Talbot Street, Harwich, has denied being concerned in the supply of cocaine between March 27 and April 21 2020.
The court has been told Rous has two previous convictions for possessing cocaine with intent to supply cocaine in 2017 and 2018, which Mr Potts said showed he had a propensity to commit offences of this kind.
