A BUSY Colchester road has flooded ahead of predicted heavy rain and strong winds.
Pictures seen by the Gazette show "hazardous flooding" on Cowdray Avenue earlier this morning.

It comes after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning covering the whole of Essex between 9pm today and 8pm tomorrow.
Forecasters warned heavy and persistent rain will move across the area throughout this evening and tomorrow morning, with windy gusts of 45-50 mph inland and as high as 60 mph on some parts of the coast.
About 10-20mm of rainfall is likely, but the wettest spots could see rain of 30-50mm.
The Met Office said there's "a chance of 20-30mm of rain within two hours if heavy showers and thunderstorms develop over southern England".
