A HELL Bus touring the UK to raise awareness of oil and gas company greenwashing has parked up at the University of Essex.
The renowned exhibition, as featured on Channel 4, will be in place at the university until Wednesday.
The Hell Bus is an interactive art installation by artist Darren Cullen who aims to expose “dirty tactics industries employ to green their public image.
The bus has already made appearances at COP26, Glastonbury Festival and Boomtown, and featured in comedian Joe Lycett’s Channel 4 documentary Joe Lycett vs The Oil Giant.
Supporting agencies Adfree Cities and Switch It Green will be on hand at the university to provide people with advice about the campaign.
James Ward, of Adfree Cities, said "Advertising plays a critical role in giving social licence to fossil companies to continue polluting.
“It creates a false impression they are leading the green transition when in fact they are in most cases actively working to prevent it.
"The Hell Bus is a great way for anyone interested to understand more about how oil and gas companies are misleading us all and what we can do to stop them."
