A PROJECT management consultancy which has an office in Colchester has changed its name as part of a rebrand to its parent company.
Formerly known as ByrneLooby, the firm – now known as Avesa – has an office in Phoenix Square, Wyncolls Road, Colchester.
But after ByrneLooby was bought out by Avesa in February, it will now adopt the name of its parent company.
The firm has helped to deliver infrastructure projects in the east of England such as Lowestoft Port, and has also worked on other projects including The Shard and HS2.
Following the acquisition, however, websites, brochures, projects, and presentations which formerly bore the ByrneLooby name will now be adopting the Avesa brand.
John Byrne, Ayesa’s UK and Ireland Manager, said the company has continued to increase its profits since the acquisition.
He said: “From the beginning, we could see that both companies are very similar in goals, culture and philosophy, with teams striving to deliver better quality and a more sustainable and resilient built environment.
“Since the acquisition, we’ve continued to grow our revenues, staff and capabilities, making significant inroads into the vibrant UK and Ireland infrastructure sectors.
“I’m excited about the future as we can do much more with greater agility, maintaining our core offering of highly technical and multidisciplinary services but now on a global scale.”
