A JUDGE has sentenced a university academic to 23 years in jail for murdering his wife in their family home in Colchester.
Ertan Ersoy, who was dressed in a jacket, shirt, and tie showed no emotion when he received his sentence from Judge Christopher Morgan
As he was escorted from the court, Ersoy gave a brief wave of indignation.
The 52-year-old was sentenced to a jail-term of 23 years and 224 days.
