A HUGELY popular stand-up comedian is set to headline a Colchester venue again following a recent sold-out performance in the city.
Comedian, author, and television personality, Jimmy Carr, will be returning to Charter Hall, in Cowdray Avenue, Colchester, on October 11, 2024.
The performance next year will be part of his forthcoming new show 'Jimmy Carr: Laughs Funny' and pre-sale begins at 10am tomorrow.

General sale tickets will be launched on November 3rd at 10am and can be purchased from tinyurl.com/yck9yzfn.
This follows on from the entertainer's enormously amusing comedy show 'Jimmy Carr: Terribly Funny 2.0' last month on October 18.
The Gazette attended the sold-out performance and rated it four stars out of five thanks to his quick wits, crowd interaction and range of dark humoured punchline jokes.
During the show, Jimmy discussed many different topics such as relationships, identity, parenthood, religion, sexuality and more.
Interestingly, he also commented on cancel culture and said: “The joke that will end my career is probably out there, cancel culture isn’t bad, I’ve been cancelled loads of time and I’m still here.”
Ticket prices have not been revealed yet for his new 2024 show.
