A TRIO of roads in Colchester are set to be closed for more than three days each.

Albion Street in Rowhedge, will be temporarily closed from 110m west of its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 30m in a westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on December 4 for three days and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pipe repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

Elmstead Road, in Wivenhoe, will also be shut from its junction with Brightlingsea Road to its junction with Colchester Road on the same day for the same length of time.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Finally, a length of Smallwood Road, in Colchester, will be closed from its junction with Paxman Avenue to its junction with Hedge Drive.

The closure is scheduled to commence on December 1 for five days and is again required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
