A RISING television comedy star with thousands of followers is set to headline a Colchester venue for the first time ever.

The writer and stand-up Ania Magliano is preparing to bring her debut tour to Colchester Arts Centre, in Church Street, on February 8, 2024.

The 'I Can't Believe You've Done This' show will see the entertainer delve into the worst haircut of her life, insecurities, life milestones, and much more.

The London-based comedian is quickly rising up the ranks of the entertainment industry thanks to her sharp, wry sense of wit and her warm, conversational demeanour.

Ania has written for the popular YouTube skit show, Amelia Dimoldenberg's Chicken Shop Date, Frankie Boyle's New World Order and The Emily Atack Show, and she has more than 23,000 followers on TikTok.

A spokesman for the comedian delved into what you can expect from Ania's debut tour.

They said: "Based on the dramatic and life changing story of the worst haircut she’s ever had, this show will see Ania explore her own (and everyone else’s) insecurities through her signature story-telling style, unique observations and quick wit."

Tickets cost £14 and doors open at 7.30pm.
