Hundreds of people flocked to Dunmow town centre to for this year’s Christmas light switch-on.

Earlier this evening, people from across Essex could be seen in Dunmow’s Christmas light switch-on which also featured a Christmas market.

The countdown for the light switch-on was preceded by live entertainment.

Gazette: This event helped bring hundreds of people into Dunmow town centre today, which helped many local businesses who were running stalls at the market.

There was a wide variety of food and drinks on offer, including hot dogs, artisan chocolate, and mulled wine.­
