A TWO-YEAR driving ban has been handed down by the authorities to a man who drove his Mazda on the A12 without insurance in December last year.
Armel Buditu, of Victor Road, Colchester, appeared in court in July charged with using a vehicle without insurance.
A separate charge of driving whilst disqualified was withdrawn.
The 34-year-old had initially denied driving without insurance, but was still found guilty by Colchester magistrates, who handed down their punishment to Buditu on Thursday, November 2.
In total, Buditu was fined £876 and banned from driving for two years.
