If you live in Loughton, or the surrounding area and you are bored at home, you would like to get out of the house and out your comfort zone. Also, if you don't know where to go on a date with a girlfriend/boyfriend Wheelie Roller Disco is always an option.
Wheelie Roller Disco hosts a roller disco at Roding Valley School every Saturday starting at 6 p.m. However, what is that?
Roller Disco is just one of a series of events that they organize. It's an hour and 15 minutes of roller skating in the sports hall of this school, while their DJ plays the latest music hits of all kinds.
Roller skates are not required to attend; they can be rented for a very affordable price, and people of all ages are welcome.
"There are two different types of things organised. There roller skating event is every Saturday and has been organised for just over 10 years. During holidays there is kids camp oeganised since 2017.", said Lucas Lang for Young Reporters Scheme.
Additionally, he mentioned that previous gatherings had drawn crowds of over 150 people, indicating that this event is extremely popular.
This organization offers roller skating classes, organises festivals, private parties, birthdays parties, charity events, and fundraisers in addition to this disco. The same events are being held, aside from Loughton, on Fridays at the Herts / Essex Sport Centre in Bishops's Stortford and on Sundays at Goffs Academy in Cheshunt.
