PERFORMERS in Colchester joined forces and raised more than £2,000 in a concert staged in aid of charity.
On Saturday November 25, Chorus Iceni and Starz Academy came together at Lion Walk Church to support the Tom Bowdidge Youth Cancer Foundation.
The foundation is named after a former Colchester Royal Grammar School pupil, who died in 2013.
Chorus Iceni, a Colchester based women’s A Cappella chorus performed a wide range of songs across different genres.
Two quartets - The Kitchen Quartet and Rococo - entertained the audience with their harmonies during the show.
Starz Performing Arts Academy, which includes young performers from across Essex and Suffolk, also took the stage and performed a mix of dance routines.
In total, the groups raised £2,300 for the Tom Bowdidge Foundation which supports young people and families.
