A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of people trafficking after a group of people were found in a lorry trailer.
Essex Police officers were called to a layby on the A120 near Coggeshall just before 10am today after concerns were raised about people in a lorry trailer.
The force said six people received medical checks and were deemed safe and well.
Five people were taken into police custody and another person has been referred to social care.
A 55-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of facilitating unlawful entry into the UK and remains in custody for questioning.
