A NEW bowling alley which is under construction has edged closer to opening.
Hollywood Bowl is one of the businesses expected to open at the £65million Northern Gateway Leisure Park in north Colchester.
Work on the project started last year and Colchester Council has now received an application to install Hollywood Bowl’s branding on its new home.
Indoor mini golf will also be on offer at the site if bowling isn’t your sport.
It will sit next door to a 12-screen Cineworld cinema which is also under construction.
The Northern Gateway project is expected to be completed next summer.
