A CHILDREN’S bike sale is being held in Colchester city centre this weekend.
Colchester Bike Kitchen, in Sir Isaac’s Walk, Colchester, will open at 11am on Saturday December 9, with the sale running until the last bicycle is sold.
Small bikes will cost £15, and larger bikes will be £25.
The community group, which is run entirely by volunteers, lends the use of its workshop for people to maintain and repair their bikes, either by themselves or under the supervision of mechanics.
The bikes on sale this Saturday will be in full working order after being checked and repaired by the Bike Kitchen's volunteers.
