A BUSY road will be closed for five days while resurfacing works take place.
Straight Road, Colchester, which stretches between Shrub End Road and London Road, will be closed for five days from January 11 while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route will be available via Shrub End Road, Maldon Road, Warren Lane, Villa Road, London Road, and vice versa.
Temporary traffic lights are also due to be installed in Straight Road, close to its junction with Chaucer Way, between December 13 and 15 while Anglian Water completes works.
