A CITY centre coffee shop is hoping to be able to sell alcohol and provide late night entertainment to customers.
Bakehouse Express in Culver Street has applied for a premises licence from Colchester Council.
The licence would allow for alcohol sales on and off the premises as well as the playing of live and recorded music and the serving of late night refreshments.
If granted, the shop would be allowed to sell these from 11am until 1am on Wednesdays, 11am until 2am from Thursday to Saturday and 11am until midnight on Sundays.
