NINJA Warrior-style play equipment is set to give a playing field a complete boost in Tiptree.
Works are currently underway at Grove Road Playing Field in Tiptree to give it a full refresh, introducing new playing equipment.
The new equipment set to be installed has been described as “cutting-edge Ninja Warrior-style play equipment” suitable for 12 to 15-year-olds.
The works are expected to take about three weeks to complete, with the council hoping for the completion date to be before schools break up in February.
The new equipment from Eibe Play Ltd will include a new 20-metre long cableway, a large inclusive trampoline, challenging ascents, a ninja wall and more.
The equipment will be set on a rubber-bonded and wet-pour surfacing.
The play equipment supplier specialises in creating “inspiring and safe” playgrounds with more than 50 years of experience in the industry.
Pictures shared with the Gazette from Eibe show what the site is set to look like once the works are completed.
A spokesman for Eibe Play Ltd believes works should be completed on the site by Friday, February 2.
Funding for the play equipment was found from unused budgets for Warriors Rest and Street Furniture for 2023 and 2024.
