TWO popular Colchester Zoo enclosures will be closed tomorrow so important maintenance can be carried out.
The complex's sea lion tunnel underwater viewing area and Rajang’s Forest, which is home to the orangutans, will be shut on Friday.
The sea lions will still be visible from the upper viewing platform, however.
The closures are in place so vital resurfacing work on the pathway leading from the sea lion's upper viewing area through to the capuchins can be carried out.
A spokesman for Colchester Zoo said: "We are sorry for any inconvenience caused whilst we carry out this important maintenance."
