WING wizard Jayden Fevrier has been leaving opponents in his wake throughout the season, for Colchester United.

And the skilful attacker is way ahead of his League Two rivals in one particular category, in the 2023-24 campaign.

According to playmakerstats, Fevrier has successfully beaten an opponent on 82 occasions so far, this season.

 

The 20-year-old is far and away the division's most successful dribbler, with Notts County's experienced attacker David McGoldrick the next highest player in the category, with 57.

Fevrier has impressed for Colchester in his first full season of league football and has started 28 of their 30 league matches so far, this season.

The youngster, who joined Colchester in December 2022 having come through the academy at West Ham United, has shone as both a winger and a wing-back for the U's this season, under three different permanent head coaches.

Fevrier has made 45 league and cup appearances so far for the U's, scoring three times.

He signed a new deal with Colchester last September that will keep him at the club until at least the summer of 2025.

He scored Colchester's second goal in their 3-3 draw with Forest Green Rovers, last Saturday.
