A COLCHESTER primary school which closed due to a "small gas leak" will reopen as normal tomorrow after having its boilers fixed.
Hamilton Primary School will open as normal on Wednesday after a gas engineer successfully recommissioned the school's boilers.
The Constantine Road site, which has 420 students, was forced to closed down on Tuesday morning following a gas leak.
A "temporary fix" for the leak which "held" was put in place and a new gas safety certificate has since been issued to the school, permitting it to open.
The primary school said online learning which was activated on Monday as per the school's policies proved a success.
