A ROCK band is preparing to headline a new and exciting music festival which is set to take place in Colchester this summer.
Summer Sundays is being held on July 14 in Colchester Castle Park, with 90s stars Ocean Colour Scene topping the bill.
Throughout their career, the band have achieved five top ten albums in the UK charts and secured a Number 1 single in 1997.
During the performance the Birmingham band will likely perform big hits such The Riverboat Song, You’ve Got It Bad, and The Day We Caught the Train.
Lee Fudger, Summer Sundays’ marketing manager said: “We are excited to bring Summer Sundays to Colchester for the first time ever.
“With a wide variety of music, including Ocean Colour Scene, good food, drinks and a silent disco, we expect pre-sale tickets to be in high demand.”
As well as Ocean Colour Scene, the line-up also includes Embrace, Cast, The View, and Tom Hingley, the ex-vocalist for Inspiral Carpets, the group which Noel Gallagher used to be a roadie for.
Pre-sale tickets will be available on February 27 at 9am, before the general admission sale starts on February 29.
The pre-sale tickets cost £49.50.
