A POPULAR comedian who co-founded an all-female and non-binary comedy collective is returning to Colchester Arts Centre with her newest tour.
Chloe Petts is bringing her If You Can't Say Anything Nice tour to Colchester on February 27.
Chloe said: "I came to Colchester Arts Centre on my last tour and it really is beautiful.
"I have been to a few converted church settings and it's a little bit different to a comedy club or theatre and has a nice studio vibe to it."
The British comedian is a co-founder of The Lol Word, a queer comedy collective hosting sell-out monthly London nights, boasting amazing female and non-binary queer acts.
Chloe continued: "Gender and sexuality come up a lot in my shows as I feel equipped to talk about this.
"I find the humour in it as I can help people who don't necessarily know about these things and show them it's not as scary as they think they might be."
She said: "In all my tours I spend the first 20 minutes chatting to the audience as I love meeting interesting, crazy and boring people.
"It makes every show individual, unique and special as I like being able to include those people in the second part of the show.
"I hope people come and turn out to the show as it has been a fun tour so far and I'd love to share it with people."
Doors open 7.30pm before the show starts 8pm.
All tickets are priced at £15.
