AN art exhibition celebrating the works of the late Roy Freer is coming to a north Essex gallery.
Roy Freer is a popular artist who creates art of familiar domestic objects and transforms them into abstract shapes of colour and tone.
His works will be on display during the 'A Life's Work' exhibition at Chappel Galleries, in Colchester Road.
His oil, watercolour and pencil artworks will be available to view from March 2 until March 24, from 10am until 5pm.
His oil canvas pieces and watercolour artworks feature landscapes, domestic settings and nude subjects and his pencil pieces feature human models.
He originally studied at the Birmingham College of Art in the 1950's and produced brilliant art pieces until he died in 2021.
Any pieces bought during the exhibition will include free delivery.
