A DELICIOUS dessert chain has opened in the centre of Colchester, offering freshly made sweet treats to take away.

Minoffles, which has branches across the country in Northampton, Slough and Hounslow, has just launched a dessert shop in Culver Walk. 

The new eatery has replaced the Lashious Beauty shop and is based next to the Vodafone store.

The Colchester branch, the chain's most recent to open, specialises in handmade waffles using “a traditional Belgian recipe”.

The menu includes bubble waffle cones, classic waffles, milkshakes, frappes, coffees and more.

Waffle toppings include fruit, Biscoff, Oreos, Kinder Bueno, toffee and more.

A spokesman for Minoffles said: “Minoffles Ltd specialise in handmade waffles using a traditional Belgian recipe and is deemed to be desirable and enjoyable dessert experience serving waffles, crepes and shakes in the shop.
