A BOWLING alley has edged one step closer to opening its doors in Colchester.
The city council has approved blueprints submitted for fascia signs to be installed at Hollywood Bowl, which is taking on a unit at the Northern Gateway Leisure Park.

The unit will also be home to a Putt Stars mini golf centre.
Myland Community Council was invited to comment on the application.
Parish councillors said they were “disappointed the design of the signage is not more visually appealing”.
