Detective drama show Bergerac, which aired on the BBC back in the 80s, could be set for a return to UK television screens.
The BBC series, which was set in Jersey, starred John Nettles as Detective Sergeant Jim Bergerac and ran for 10 years from 1981 to 1991.
The series also starred Terence Alexander as Charlie Hungerford, Sean Arnold as Chief Inspector/Superintendent Barney Crozier and Deborah Grant as Deborah Bergerac.
The final episode of Bergerac aired on the BBC on Boxing Day (December 26) in 1991.
Now, more than 30 years later the show looks set for a return.
Former BBC series Bergerac set for reboot after more than 30 years
A Bergerac reboot is reportedly "almost a done deal", according to The Sun, with the show set to return with an unnamed streaming service.
The show is set to feature a host of new faces.
Big name stars such as Happy Valley's James Norton, Doctor Who legend David Tennant and Poldark actor Aidan Turner have all been linked to roles within the Bergerac reboot, The Sun reports.
A cameo for Nettles in the series, who is now 80, has also been discussed.

A source, speaking to The Sun, said: “If all goes according to plan, filming will take place in the summer.”
Former chief minister of Jersey, Kristina Moore, said the reboot would be “a great boost for the island” with the Channel Island’s government set to contribute £1.8 million to the project.
Moore added: “The company is ready to go, there are scripts written, they could start filming in the spring for broadcast in November and December of this year.”
