COLCHESTER United's game with Doncaster Rovers has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
A local EFL official conducted a pitch inspection at 8am this morning, where it was ruled that the JobServe Community Stadium surface was unplayable for the League Two clash.
It was judged that there was little chance of improvement, with heavy rain forecast throughout the day.
After talks with the EFL and PGMOL, the decision was made to call the game off.
It is the third Colchester home league game to be called off in the space of four weeks, following the postponement of their league fixtures against Stockport County and Grimsby Town due to the pitch being unplayable.
Colchester and Doncaster will now have to arrange a new date for the fixture, with the U's schedule already tight following recent call-offs.
