A Colchester storyteller is set to take over as host on a popular climate podcast.
Former student of Colchester Institute, Isabelle Sparrow, is to host the third series of the Carbon Copy podcast.
Currently living in Norfolk, Ms Sparrow began her work with the environmental charity last May.
She said: "I’ve always cared about the environment, but it was really when I had my first child that I started to feel more anxious about the future, and like I needed to channel that anxiety into action.
"I’ve always worked in communications and PR, so when I saw the role come up at Carbon Copy it seemed like a perfect fit."
The Carbon Copy podcast provides a platform for the charity to communicate information on local climate action, alongside a national collection of stories, media campaigns, and nationwide events.
Ms Sparrow added: "We launched the podcast back in 2022, and the previous two series were hosted by Carbon Copy’s co-founder, Ric Casale; but we are changing things up a bit with series 3, really trying to draw out the passion and dedication of our guests."
The first episode, focusing on protecting coastal communities from erosion, will be available on all mainstream podcast platforms from March 20.
