TIME is almost up for budding filmmakers aiming to be the next Steven Spielberg or Quentin Tarantino to sign up for an upcoming course in Colchester.
Signals Film School is designed to help youngsters interested in film with developing the knowledge and skills they need to kickstart a career in the industry.
The course is run by Signals, a centre for creative digital learning, which specialises in film education, digital art and media production.
Participants will partake in a week of workshops, masterclasses and talks from industry professionals as well as experience practical lessons in filmmaking.
Throughout the course, they will have the chance to meet filmmakers, camera operators, directors and more.
Those who join the course are expected to create their own short film by its conclusion.
Classes will take place from April 8 to April 12 at Signals in St Runwald Street, Colchester.
Tutors are looking for evidence of a passion for film whether through a love of films or self-created videos and scripts.
The course costs £95, with free places available upon request.
Aimed at applicants aged 15 to 19, the deadline to apply for the course is March 22.
