CARE home residents will be enjoying a range of 50s classics at a special themed party to mark the site’s 30th anniversary.
On Tuesday, Tall Trees, in Oaks Place, is hosting a 1950s party to celebrate 30 years since opening.
There will be live entertainment from local group, Mini Concerts, who will be performing a range of classic 50s favourites.
The Museum in the Park is providing a host of artefacts from the era, helping visitors get into the true spirit of the decade.
Guests will also be treated to a celebratory cake, from the home’s catering team, as well as a range of tasty party food.
Tall Trees, which provides full-time residential, nursing, dementia, and short-term respite care, first opened in 1994.
The home has won numerous awards over the years as well as building strong relationships with the community, including schools and nurseries.
Manager Alice Banda said: “We’re thrilled to be inviting the community to join us in celebrating our 30th birthday.
“It’s been a wonderful three decades years and we’ve created some incredible memories together with the residents here.
“We can’t wait to see everyone come together to enjoy the celebrations.”
