A THEATRE in Colchester will stage a production centred on a much-loved character.
Sherlock Holmes Strikes Back will be played at Headgate Theatre in Chapel Street North.
It is based on the work of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, author of the original Holmes novels which date back to 1887.
Actor Jonathan Goodwin, who has previously played Sir Arthur Conan Doyle on stage, will be playing Sherlock Holmes.
Sherlock Holmes Strikes Back will be performed on Thursday, May 2.
The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost between £10-£14.
