COLCHESTER Zoo's exclusive evening tours are back this May and June – with only 60 tickets remaining for each event.
A Toast to Wildlife is an “exclusive evening event” where guests are guided by an Experience Zoo Host on an exclusive tour around the zoo.
During the tour, guests will learn more about the changes happening at Colchester Zoo and also experience presentations from zoo Directors.
Other activities include hand feeding giraffes while finding out about their tongues, watching Amur Tigers as they enjoy a feed, a close encounter with the Zoo’s lemurs – an endangered species.
There will also be a chance to learn more about Patagonian sea lions.
To ensure exclusivity, there are only 60 tickets available for each event and Colchester Zoo passholders can purchase their ticket at a reduced rate.
The release of the tickets comes after Colchester Zoo’s maintenance team has also now fixed the roof of the Orangutan building – which was damaged by a storm on Monday afternoon.
Another positive addition to the zoo is the new Dinosaur Realm which closes on hour before the zoo’s closing time of 4.30pm on weekdays and 5pm on weekends.
