FORMER Colchester United defender Kane Vincent-Young has been released by Wycombe Wanderers.
But the ex-U's full-back will be given the chance to continue his rehabilitation with the Chairboys in pre-season, having suffered an injury in February.
Vincent-Young joined Wycombe on a free transfer last summer, following his release by Ipswich Town.
The 28-year-old made 21 league and cup appearances for the League One side, in the 2023-24 campaign.

However, he was sidelined from February onwards, due to injury.
Wycombe boss Matt Bloomfield told the Wycombe website: “Kane has been really unfortunate with injuries but he looked a really promising player for us when he stepped on the pitch, so we’re looking forward to helping him get back to full fitness and seeing what opportunities open up for him at that point."
Vincent-Young made 126 league and cup appearances for the U's after making his professional debut for them in August, 2015.
He spent four full seasons playing for Colchester's first team, before leaving to join Ipswich in the summer of 2019.
In total, he made 64 appearances for Town, with 26 of those coming in the club's promotion-winning 2022/23 campaign.
