A PROFFESSOR of textiles at the Royal College of Art in London is coming to Colchester.
Professor Freddie Robins, known for her “inventive and provocative use of knitting” will be in the city centre week for a two-hour talk - Who’s scared of the soft stuff?.
She had her work held in the Government Art Collection, the Victoria and Albert Museum, Crafts Council and KODE Museum in Norway.
The lecture will take place at Firstsite from 6pm to 8pm on May 16 and is for people aged 16 and over.
Tickets cost £14 for non-members, £11 for members and £9 for students.
