A CABARET performance put on by drag queens is making its way to a popular Colchester venue. 

The Lipsinkers are returning to Colchester Arts Centre on May 17 with a night full of dance, music and comedy.

Dressed in eccentric outfits, the drag quintet get up to all sorts in this unforgettable night of unique entertainment. 

Their constantly changing five star show played sell out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe over four consecutive years

A spokesman for The Lipsinkers said: "As the beating spleen of London’s alternative drag scene since 2007, The Lipsinkers make a welcome return to Colchester Arts with their unfathomable display of hosiery, poseury and what gets up your nosery.

"Fast-paced, choreographed comedy in big hair and high heels: New skits, classic hits and all the usual chutzpah."

Ben Walters, from Not Television, added: "In their hands, drag and character and gender and theatre squelch and writhe together, spilling across the room, gesturing towards unknown pleasures and leaving a glorious mess."

Doors open 8pm and show starts at 8.30pm.

Tickets are £12 with £10 concessions.
