THE cause of death of a woman who was found dead at home by a member of her family has been revealed at an inquest.
A welfare check had been carried out by a member of Charlotte Coleman’s family on Wednesday, April 17 before she was found unresponsive.
An inquest into Miss Coleman’s death was opened by area coroner for Essex, Michelle Brown, on Friday.
The inquest heard how a member of Miss Coleman’s family phoned paramedics who attended the scene and confirmed her death at 2.12pm.
A post-mortem gave Miss Coleman’s death as 1A hanging, awaiting toxicology.
A documentary inquest into the 38-year-old will be heard at a later date.
