THE Colchester and Ipswich Hospitals Charity is encouraging people to talk about death, dying and grief for Dying Matters Awareness Week.
The national campaign’s theme for this year is the language and conversations we use about death and dying with healthcare professionals.
The non-profit organisation - focused on improving patient experience and staff welfare - launched a ‘Butterfly service’ in 2019 which helps staff, volunteers and those affected with support and company for people’s last days and hours of life.
