A MAN was rushed to hospital after suffering a medical emergency at a busy roundabout near Colchester city centre.
Eyewitnesses say police officers and the ambulance service were spotted at St Botolph’s Circus between 5pm and 6pm on Tuesday.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service confirmed: “One ambulance, one ambulance officer vehicle, and a rapid response vehicle were sent to St Botolph’s Circus, Colchester, following reports of a man with a medical emergency.
“One man was transported to Colchester Hospital for further assessment and care.”
