COLCHESTER United Women head coach Simon King says winning the double in their first season is a 'massive achievement'.
The U's thrashed Southminster United 6-0 to lift the Essex Women's League Cup, adding it to their Essex Women's division two title won last week.
It has been a memorable season for Colchester, who were formed last summer.

Colchester lift the Essex Women's League Cup in style after a comprehensive win over Southminster at the Len Salmon Stadium, in Basildon.
Goals from player of the match Ruby Vinton (2), Ruby Greenleaf (2), Ella Cahill and a screamer from skipper Cassie Craddock-Ball sealed the U's win.
Colchester Women clinched the league title after beating runners-up Sudbury Sports Women 3-0 in their final game, at the MEL Group Stadium.
