A DRIVER has been ordered to pay £706 for doing 46mph in a 30mph zone.
Andrew Ilett was driving a Mitsubishi ASX in east London when he broke the speed limit in New Road, Dagenham, last December.
The offence was brought before magistrates in Wandsworth earlier this month.
They found Ilett, of Hythe Hill, Colchester, guilty in his absence.
Ilett, 54, was fined £440 and ordered to pay further costs of £266.
Magistrates also endorsed Illet’s licence with four points.
