A TEENAGER was assaulted in broad daylight in Colchester city centre by a group of yobs prompting a police investigation.
Essex Police said officers were called to reports of an assault in Head Street just before 2.20pm on Monday.
“It was reported a teenage boy had been assaulted by a group of other teenage boys,” the force said.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information which could assist the investigation is urged to contact Essex Police quoting the crime reference numbers 42/81970/24 and 42/81974/24.
