A DRIVER has been ordered to pay nearly £200 in costs for breaking a 50mph speed limit.

Remilekun Oluwa hit 68mph just after 4am in October last year on Rochester Way, Greenwich.

Earlier this month, magistrates in Willesden considered the case after Oluwa, 44, admitted one charge of speeding.

Considering the case in Oluwa’s absence, magistrates ordered the driver to pay an £80 fine and further costs of £112.

The defendant, of Gantry Close in Colchester, had his driving licence endorsed with four penalty points.
